Miari Taina Stephens is a Black-Puerto Rican New Yorker. She is a recent graduate of Smith College, where she majored in Africana Studies. Miari is entering the African and African American doctoral program at Harvard University this fall 2016, and plans to continue research on black women of the diaspora.
